Angela C. Gonzalez
Angela C. Gonzalez is the President and a founding partner of Meridian
Consulting, Inc. She brings over 25 years of business management and consulting
experience to business leaders, helping them deal effectively with the issues,
demands, and responsibilities that come with the management role. Angela
specializes in leadership development and provides executive assessment, coaching
and training.
She excels in enabling her clients to see things in new ways and translate
those insights into action. Through her unique ability to partner with
her clients, Angela helps them develop new skills, internalize new behaviors,
and overcome the obstacles that prevent them from performing at the top of
their game. She is qualified to administer numerous assessments that
help leaders identify their strengths, talents, and targets of opportunity
for success.
One of Angela’s special coaching talents is the ability to help her
clients cultivate and sustain important business relationships at all levels
of the organization. She works collaboratively with her clients in developing
leadership presence, shaping and articulating a vision, and building powerful
interdependent relationships that are often the key to professional success
and personal satisfaction. Her coaching services include One-to-One
Coaching, Executive Onboarding, Succession Planning, and Shadow
Coaching. Angela’s engaging personality and relaxed style
combined with her corporate experience enable her to perform at multiple levels
and in diverse business cultures.
Angela is also an accomplished trainer, working with adult learners for over
15 years, bringing energy, insight and experience to her training programs. She
is skilled in conducting needs assessments and designing targeted learning
programs. Angela teaches a wide variety of business courses that focus
on enhancing emotional intelligence, building & sustaining effective business
relationships, increasing influence without authority, practicing the art of
delegation, managing oneself for the best results, and creating work environments
that promote the authentic engagement of employees.
She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Pacific in Stockton,
California, a former Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University, and a
current member of the faculty at the American Management Association. Angela
holds a B.A. degree from California State University, Chico, in Instructional
Technology. She serves on the Board of the Northern California Chapter
of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, and is active in the Bay
Area Association for Psychological Type, East Bay Women in Business Roundtable,
Diablo Valley Women in Business and the eWomenNetwork of the East Bay.
