Meridian Assessment Services
Meridian provides the right assessments to measure the
right things.
Our assessment data enables individuals, teams, and organizations
to develop strategies
for leveraging strengths and targeting opportunities for improvement.
Assessments for Increasing Self-Awareness and Improving Self-Management:
- FOUNDATIONS™ 360 Degree
Collaboration Assessment – No matter where you are in the
organizational structure, your ability to succeed collaboratively is powerfully
impacted by how you are perceived by others. There are certain behaviors
we exhibit that we simply cannot see in ourselves. They are blind spots,
and we all have them. FOUNDATIONS™ allows you to see those blind
spots as they’re
revealed through an assessment of how others view you—a view that
establishes the basis for how others interact with you—for better
or worse. With the FoundationsTM data, you can leverage that information
to achieve powerful results.
FOUNDATIONS™ is a unique 360° web-based assessment tool that
provides a rare opportunity to see yourself as others see you and gauge your
ability to collaborate effectively.

- Keys™ Value Clarification
Process –Meridian’s tool provides
individuals and teams with a vehicle for examining the role of values in
the workplace. It also provides groups with a process for articulating
group norms and needs. Keys is a highly interactive tool, promoting
dialogue and values clarification.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™ (MBTI) – The
MBTI helps individuals and teams identify their preferences on how they prefer
to interact with their environment and the people in it. This tool
is highly effective for developing awareness of individual and team preferences,
and how they influence communication in the workplace. It provides
clear explanations for our differences and creates a level of awareness that
facilitates a constructive approach for managing human differences.
Assessments for Team and Business Unit Performance Improvement:
- Insight™ Internal Customer
Assessment –Meridian’s tool is specifically
designed for use by Support Units such as Human Resources, Accounting,
and Facilities, etc., which support the activities of the Operational
Units. The results identify the needs of the Operational Units, relative
to the services/products supplied by the Support Units, and measures how
well they are performing. With this data, Support Units can better
target their services, improve their level of service, or innovate new
delivery mechanisms.
- Workbench™ Business Unit
Assessment –Meridian’s tool assesses
the performance of business units, large and small, along eight dimensions: Organizational,
Management, Job Satisfaction, Team Commitment, Team Roles & Responsibilities,
Team Communication, Team Conflict Management, and Team Decision
Making. The information is collected in face-to-face interviews
and written surveys, and provides business units with valuable information
for improving productivity, increasing job satisfaction, and reducing stress
and burnout.
- TAP™ Team Assessment Profile –Meridian
developed this “team mapping” tool to help groups better understand
their collective strengths and challenges as they work together as a team. Whether
you are on a special team assignment, or on a permanent work team, TAP will
help your team understand the dynamics of your team and help you develop
strategies for resolving differences, collectively solving problems, and
making better decisions.
Training Assessments & Plans:
- Needs Assessments – Before you invest your training
dollars, identify the training needs from an organizational, strategic, and
individual needs perspective. Training is a sound investment in building
productive capability.
In fact, you will get a better return on your investment from training than
almost any other capital investment, and taking the time to identify specific
needs will improve your results and give you the best return on your investment.
- Training Assessment Tools
- Level I – Learning Evaluation: This evaluation
tool allows you to measure the participant satisfaction regarding content,
format and instructor value.
- Level II – Learning Evaluation: This evaluation
tool allows you to measure whether the participants learned the stated
training objectives.
- Level III – Behavior or Skill Application Evaluation: This
is an evaluation technique that allows you to measure whether the participants
are using the acquired skill and/or knowledge in the performance of their
jobs.
- Level IV – Impact Evaluations: This technique
allows you to measure the impact of the training in the ability of participants
to “add value” on the job. It is generally designed to
yield a cost/benefit analysis.
